Abstract
A quantum field theoretical method is applied to the dynamical theory of X-ray diffraction. Diagrammatical methods for the calculation of the Green function, which have been developed in the field of many body problems, give usual scattering factors and absorption coefficients. It is also shown that the usual dispersion equation can be derived from the pole of the Green function.
