On the Molecular and Intramolecular Relaxation Times in Some Polar Organic Liquids

Abstract

The dielectric constants (ε′) and loss factors (ε″) of phenetole, aniline and orthochloroaniline in the liquid state at different temperatures in the 3 cm and 1.5 cm microwave regions have been measured. The results have been analysed in terms of two relaxation times τ₁ and τ₂ for molecular and intramolecular orientations respectively.
