Abstract
Decay of 42K was investigated by a Ge(Li) detector and a 5″φ×4″ NaI scintillation counter. Two gamma-ray peaks were newly observed at 0.692 and 1.228 MeV in the gamma-gamma coincidence spectrum. The 0.587 MeV gamma-ray, previously reported by McCullen et al., could not be seen and the upper limit of the intensity of this gamma-ray relative to the 0.900 MeV gamma was 0.7%.
