Abstract
The viscosity of PNT melts (m.p. 51.6°C) in the temperature interval 47°–75°C have been determined. The results follow an Arrhenius behaviour above the melting point. In the supercooled region also the viscosity data fit an Arrhenius equation with different values of the Evis and pre-exponential factor. The results indicate hindered rotation of the PNT molecules in the supercooled region.
