Abstract
The decay of 134Cs has been investigated by using single crystal, γ-γ coincidence, sum-peak coincidence and γ-γ angular correlation techniques. There is no evidence for the 1580 keV level proposed by Nagpal. The directional correlation measurements of the 1038–605 keV cascade favours 3+ spin assignment for the 1643 keV level of 134Ba.
