Photocurrent Oscillation in KTaO3

Abstract
Low-frequency photocurrent oscillation has been found in pure KTaO3 at low temperature. The oscillation behavior depends on the light intensity and the applied voltage. The temperature of the illuminated surface of KTaO3 changes synchronously with the oscillation. It is suggested that these effects are caused by the redistribution of electrons over levels under the influence of Joule heat of the photocurrent.
