Abstract
The dielectric properties of deuterated triammonium deuterium disulfate have been studied at 1 atm in the temperature region between −170°C and 25°C. It has been found that the crystal is ferroelectric in two phases. The spontaneous polarization is 2.15 μCoul·cm−2 at −170°C. The present results indicate a large isotope effect on ferroelectric activity.
