Abstract
Magnetic susceptibility was measured along the screw axis of single crystals of ZnCr2Se4, a proper screw magnet, below the Néel temperature. A pronounced temperature dependence was observed and was discussed in connection with the tetragonal deformation of the crystal. Structure sensitiveness of the magnetic properties of this material was also reported.
