Optical Detection of ESR in Amorphous As₂S₃

Abstract

ESR in amorphous As₂S₃ was optically detected. It was found that the g-value was about 2.04, and that the half-width was about 1200 Gauss. The results show that luminescence centers are different from optically induced ESR centers observed by Bishop et al., because the half-width of their spectra is much narrower than that of the present experiment.
