Abstract

ESR line shape of VO2+ ions has been studied in the incommensurate phase of K2SeO4 crystal. The line shapes near the commensurate-incommensurate transition were analysed by the one-dimensional phase soliton model. The theoretical line shape agreed well with the experimental one. The temperature dependences of the density and the initial phase of the soliton were obtained from the line shape fitting.
