Effects of Strong Spin-Orbit Scattering on Hall Effect in Weakly Localized Regime

Abstract

The quantum corrections to the Hall conductivity, σ_xy, are evaluated in the presence of strong spin-orbit scattering and the result indicates that the mobility, not the effective carrier number, contains the logarithmic correction as in the case without spin-orbit scattering.
