Abstract

Magnetization of 1T-TaS₂ single crystal in the Anderson localized state has been measured at low temperatures. The magnetic susceptibility of 1T-TaS₂ follows the Curie-Weiss law with the paramagnetic Curie point of 1.5 K in the measured temperature range of 10 K to 40 K. Forromagnetic order was found at ca. 0.9 K.
