Abstract
The electrical resistivity of the Ni–Mn alloys containing up to 29.2 at%Mn was measured from 4.2 to 1000 K. With increasing Mn contents, the magnetic resistivity at TTc in the disordered Ni–Mn alloys linearly increases, reaches a maximum around 7 at%Mn and decreases. This behavior is interpreted by the spin-disorder mechanism with consideration of the composition variations of not only the de Gennes factor but also the average exchange-interaction constant.
