Abstract

The space group of each low temperature phase in {N(CH₃)₄}₂ZnBr_B and {N(CH₃)₄}₂CoBr₄ was determined by X-ray diffraction as P12₁⁄c1. The characteristic diffuse streaks along the b^*- and c^*-directions were observed in the high temperature phase in both materials.
