Neutron diffraction experiments have been applied for liquid Bi–Zn alloys. The structure factors of this system along the liquidus curve have been obtained and its temperature dependence above the critical temperature, where the miscibility gap closes, is also examined. A remarkable change in the structure factor has been observed around 80 at% Zn, which composition corresponds to that of maximum critical temperature. This concentration variation of the observed structure factors has been discussed in view point of the thermodynamic properties.
