For the understanding of the temperature dependence of the static structure factor of liquid Li4Pb, the two-component system consisting of charged hard spheres with screened Coulomb interaction in a uniform neutralizing background charge is investigated in terms of the modified mean spherical approximation. It is found that in respect to the structure reflecting the chemical short range order the calculated temperature-dependence agrees reasonably well with the measured one. This result suggests that the effect of the background charge plays an essential role in the temperature variation of the static structure of liquid Li4Pb.
