Abstract
Neutron scattering experiment on a single crystal of the heavy-fermion system CeInCu2 demonstrated the occurrence of the magnetic order below 2 K which was found by the previous NMR measurement. The magnetic order is a short-range order of the type 1 structure of an fcc antiferromagnet in which moments parallel to (0 0 1) are modulated in the [0 0 1] direction. The moment estimated from the integrated intensity is μ=0.40±0.07 μB, which is about one half of the moment of the Γ7 ground state.
