Abstract
Measurement of the complex dielectric constant of Ca2Pb(C2H5CO2)6 (DLP) has been made around the ferroelectric phase transition temperature, Tc. The dielectric dispersion of relaxational type of which the relaxation time shows the critical slowing-down has been observed. The results indicate that the ferroelectric phase transition of DLP is essentially of the order-disorder type. No essential differences are found between DLP and isomorphic Ca2Sr(C2H5CO2)6 (DSP) in the static and dynamic dielectric properties around Tc.
