Abstract

Voriconazole is widely used for the prevention and treatment of fungal infection in leukemia patients and considered the primary antifungal agent for invasive aspergillosis. We report 60 cases of patients who developed visual disturbance and visual and auditory hallucinations after intravenous voriconazole treatment for invasive pulmonary aspergillosis increased by intravenous Imipenem treatment. The aim of this research is to show how to proceed basing on pharmacokinetics of both voriconazole and imipenem to solve hallucination.
