Abstract

With flooding of data and only partially observable inner mechanisms of biological systems, the art of understanding and predicting effects of chemicals are intrinsically difficult. Systems biology has been proposed as an approach to improve the situation. While there are numbers of break through, it again encountered problems of intrinsic complexity and cognitive limitations. We need to empower our research and clinical applications using Artificial intelligence / machine learning combined with proper data analysis and simulation methodologies backed by sophisticated experiments. The talk describes current status and future perspectives of this research directions.
