Abstract
White blood cells, epithelial cells, and protein in the irrigational fluid from cow uterus increased at 2 to 4 months of pregnancy.
Major protein fractions of uterine milk from cow at 2 to 5 months of pregnancy consisted of albumin, al, a2, β- and γ-globumins, and these fractions are approximately the same as that of serum. Moreover immoelectrophoretic studies revealed the presence of 5 precipitation lines.
Before 5 months of pregnancy the electropholetic patterns of the uterine milk were similar to that of the serum, and after 7 to 9 months of pregnancy albumin, α2- and β-globulin decreased in the protein.
