Abstract
In some factories and vessel engines, a scrubber is used to reduce the release of environmental pollution. A scrubber can also reduce Particulate Matter(PM)as well as Nitrogen Oxide(NOx)and Sulfur Oxide(SOx) by causing a reaction with sprayed water. However, waste water containing exhaust gas is generated during after-scrubber treatment, and the process is regarded as questionable. This study developed technology for environmental burden reduction including waste water treatment using premixed combustion with fuel and waste water in combination with triple fluid fuel injection valves. Combustion temperature is decreased by the use of premixed combustion and can be expected to reduce the amount of NOx. Its flammability improves simultaneously, and it can also reduce PM. The premixed combustion using waste water increased NOx concentration about 5% with A heavy oil and from 5to 30% with C heavy oil compared with the premixed combustion using tap water. About PM, the premixed combustion using fresh water could decrease Soluble Organic Fraction(SOF)by about 73% and Dry. Soot(DS)by about 80%,and the premixed combustion using waste water could decrease SOF by about 68% and DS by about 74%. Therefore, this study could show how to reduce exhaust gas simultaneously with the treatment of waste water.
