Abstract

Previously, we achieved annihilation-type removal of high-concentration waste nitrogen through the combination of bio-nitrification and subcritical hydrothermal reaction. In the present study, we investigated high-concentration nitrogen removal using the combination of hydrogen reduction and hydrothermal reaction of ammonia hydrogen peroxide, such as in the base washing water of semiconductors containing hydrogen peroxide. To apply the previously reported method, the process of hydrogen reduction for the removal of hydrogen peroxide alone from the source effluent must be added to the preceding stage.
