Abstract

We made a survey of take off distances at Osaka International Airport which were varied by weather conditions and take off weight. Simultaniously, flight tracks, heights and noise levels around the airport which were influenced by take off distances were measured. In this paper, we analyze these data using statstical method, and get simple and multiple regression models. Some of the simple regression models in temperature, vector wind and trip length versus take off distance are low of reliability. But the multiple regression models have higher value of multiple correlation coefficient. Not all of the simple regression models in take off distance versus flight track, height, and noise level after take off show good correlation. So we add explanatory valiables which are temperature, vector winds, and trip length. The multiple regression models are raised reliability. These models may be of use to drow aircraft noise contour in an arbitrary weather condition. And, except take off distances, in standard weather condition, good agreements are found between Integrated Noise Model's take off profiles and those of measured.
