Abstract

In the pollution loads which flow into the receiving water, there are the point sources of pollutants from industrial wastewater and domestic drainage, and the nonpoint sources of pollutants which are scattered all over the cities and regions and difficult to determine the pollution sources. The point sources of pollutants are mostly flowed out at the dry-weather. In the nonpoint sources of pollutants, the accumulated pollutants of the dry-weather are mostly flushed out under the storm events. It be comes clear that this nonpoint sources of pollutants are very important through the closed receiving water.
In this study, the relationship between nonpoint sources of pollutants and water quality environment were analyzed, and nonpoint sources of pollutants were quantified and the influence which the nonpoint sources of pollutants are flowed into the receiving water was obtained. The nonpoint sources of pollutants are concerned in the water environment widely through runoff systems, and nonpoi nt sources of pollutants were determined with characteristics of regions by analyzing an extensive study. Further, the management of nonpoint sources of pollutants and runoff loads from the point of water quality preservation were examined.
