Abstract

　Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) have been applied to various fields because of their various merits such as high power and torque per size and high efficiency. This paper describes the drive system for driving the PMSM from the view of current control, position sensorless control, and other technologies, and introduces recent technological trends.
