Abstract
A driving simulator enables driving a vehicle in a simulated environment, and various technologies have been applied to make this environment realistic This article describes the recently developed technologies for reproducing a road environment, including scenery along the road and geometric road structures, vehicle vibration caused by road surface conditions and gaps in road segments, and the auditory environment in the vehicle cabin.
