Abstract
In hydrogen engine, high thermal efficiency and low nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions are required. For the achievement of them, there are many possible combinations of injection pressure, injection timing and ignition timing that can be used in a system that injets the fuel directly into the cylinder. In this study, different combinations of injection and ignition timings were classified as three combustion regimes, and experiments were codnucted to make clear the differences in combustion characteristics attributable to the operating cinditions.
