Abstract
In the premixed compression ignition combustion, high load region is limited by diesel knock, excess air ratio, maximum in-cylinder pressure and smoke emission. As a result of having examined it with variable effective compression ratio by using electro-hydraulic drive camless valve system and high pressure injection, premixed compression ignition combustion region was expanded to higher load side.
