Abstract
The purpose of this study is to improve the prediction accuracy of bending fracture in impact CAE analysis of aluminum beams. In previous report, the fracture judgment formula was derived from improvement of Datsko-Yang formula that can judge the bending fracture limit. By applying this judgment formula to the FEM simulation, bending fracture of the corner part was predictable in CAE. In addition, the prediction accuracy of bending fracture was verified in static and dynamic test.
