In this study, we developed comfortable sitting posture for assist or rear passengers. We specified the basic sitting posture parameters that greatly influenced passenger's comfort by using Design of Experiments method. The results showed leg posture and leg supporting conditions were important factors. The best comfortable leg posture and leg supporting conditions were validated through subjective evaluations.
