Abstract
A honeycomb shaped paper was prepared by paper making technique and the following molding and calcination process. On the porous paper-honeycomb, precious metal catalyst containing Pd dispersed on Mn-substituted lanthanum hexa-aluminate(MPB) as one of the catalyst contents was coated and the exhaust gas purification performance was studied by measurement of the gas emitted from two wheeled vehicle(125cc). NOx, CO and HC gas contained in the exhaust gas, were detected lower than the value of EURO3 emission regulation.
