Abstract
Of emissions of diesel vehicle, nitrogen dioxide is considered to be accumulated by roadsides so-called “Hot-spot”, and result in harmful influence to pedestrians and residents. The mechanism of Hot-spot consists of more than one contributing factors; exhaust gas dynamics, vehicle dynamics, engine dynamics, drivers' operation and road environment. In this research, it was investigated influences of these contributing factors to Hot-spot by road test using on-board measurement system. And it was also confirmed that adopting for New Long Term Regulation is effective to restraining taking place of Hot-spot by comparing to the results of Vehicle adopted for Long Term Regulation.
