Abstract

We explain the temperature control method of the advanced DX system that combines the evaporative pressure regulator (EPR) with the inverter control of the compressor, corresponding to a wide range temperature setting required of the environmental test room. The advanced DX system does not need the re-heater. Therefore, it reduces the energy consumption significantly. We report the results of the simulated energy-saving performance of the advanced DX system compared with the conventional DX system.
