Abstract
2D concentration distribution is an important factor to analyze the combustion structure and the combustor efficiency in engines. For example, 2D distribution of NH3 becomes a key factor for the process of denitrification in urea SCR. The purpose of this study is to establish the 2D concentration measurement technology using CT tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy(CT-TDLAS). The characteristics of 2D measurement concentrations of CH4 were analyzed and compared to the sampling results. The time resolved NH3concentration in the engine exhaust gas were also measured to demonstrate the capability of CT-TDLAS in engine applications.
