Abstract
Two test methodologies for EV range per charge were proposed for reducing the test duration of existing test procedure (TRIAS: Test Requirements and Instructions for Automobile Standards). The two methodologies which were based on test cycle modification and range estimation reduced the test duration. In this paper, the procedures of the proposed tests, accuracy of the test results and effect of the test duration reduction were demonstrated with experimental results of actual vehicles on chassis dynamometer.
