Abstract
In this research, an alarm system based on complex stimulus of alarm sound and seat vibration is proposed for prevention support of inattentive driving on the approach to an intersection. First, for the purpose of evaluating drivers behavior as inattentive driving, drivers answer numerical calculations while doing a driving task using a driving simulator. Next, drivers behavior by using an alarm system based on complex stimulus are observed. Furthermore, the effective improvement of recognizability is verified by understanding drivers behavior of inattentive driving using the proposed system based on complex stiulus.
