Abstract
This paper mainly focuses on the internal resistance sensing technology that has been newly developed for an automotive fuel cell system. Precise feedback control of water balance inside fuel cell stack contributes to cost reduction of fuel cell system by system simplification. To achieve this, the stack internal resistance measurement technique using Impedance Bridge has developed to detect the water content of a MEA precisely. And that sensing prototype circuit was verified to meet the requirements of a water management system. By using this sensing technology realized the cost reduction of PEFC system via simplification.
