Abstract
Fuel consumption and emission performance comparison between Worldwide harmonized Light vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) and JC08 test cycle were investigated by chassis-dynamometer tests using 12 test vehicles in which newer technologies were installed. In most of the vehicles, fuel consumption in WLTP was almost as equal as that in JC08, though CO and NMHC emissions increased in WLTP because of a couple of reasons such as cold start control, high rate of acceleration and inertia weight setting.
