Abstract
The purpose of this work is to develop an after-treatment system for removing particulate matters (PM) using
non-thermal plasma. This plasma after-treatment system has the advantage of low pressure drop because of its
flow-through structure, different from wall-flow particulate filters. It can continuously remove PM at the low
temperature and is suitable for compact cars. In this study, we have developed a plasma reactor with high durability, a
pulse power supply with high power efficiency and a power saving control method for the plasma system. The
developed system achieved high PM removal performance and high durability with low supply power.
