Abstract
A passenger seated on a 6-axis motion base is exposed to vehicle sway that simulate lane-changing with the seat varied its side support and insert part's deflection. Motion data of the passenger have been measured by a motion capture system from which the motion amounts of the physical parts has been calculated. The side support conditions of seat, which tend to be highly evaluated, are discussed by considering the angular velocity of head as a main factor of motion amount and the subjective evaluation (acceptable vibration or not acceptable vibration) results.
