Abstract
NOx emission from a diesel passenger vehicle affects the atmospheric environment. It is difficult to estimate the NOx emission influenced by environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity, driving patterns, traffic conditions, and so on. In the authors’ previous study, a statistical prediction model of NOx emission was considered for efficient evaluation in the real world using real driving emissions and instantaneous vehicle data measured by portable emissions measurement system. In this study, additional considerations were made to improve the accuracy of model.
