Abstract

In this research, the effect of higher hydrocarbon and multiple hydrocarbon on oxidation reaction in DOC was investigated, numerically. The oxidation reaction was assumed to occur on the active site where the adsorption also occurred. In the mechanism of oxidation on the active site, the behavior of deactivation was expressed by reduction of empty active site by adsorption. Factors that decrease the oxidation rate are concluded from the oxidation rate and adsorption and desorption rate of each hydrocarbon.
