Abstract
This paper proposes a torque correction control method for an automobile engine that reduces both dispersion in torque among the cylinders and an error between indicated value and actual value in fuel injection quantity using Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) and a mathematical model of the piston-crank system. Moreover, the experiment results of our proposed method based on the engine test bench in steady state confirmed that proposed method is able to reduce both the dispersion in torque among the cylinders and the error in fuel injection quantity.
