Abstract
Motor rotors are generally manufactured by Die-cutting on electrical steel, but Die-cutting causes residual stress and roughness which have influence the fatigue life of the rotor. The acceleration / deceleration test was carried out by using motor, and the rotational fatigue life of the rotor was evaluated by fatigue analysis based on the stress analysis and the fatigue data of the electrical steel. It became clear that the rotational fatigue life of the rotor was able to be calculated accurately by considering the influence of Die-cutting.
