Abstract
The authors propose a novel concept of energy system which is named “virtual grid system” combining electric vehicles with a renewable energy such as the photovoltaic power generation. In this system, generated PV power is stored and transported by various types of electric vehicles. In this system, generated PV power is stored and transported by various types of electric vehicles. As the results of having studied to apply VG to Gifu University, the virtual grid system that is constructed with PV, commuter EVs and city buses can reduce more than 70% of CO2 emissions of whole economically. Furthermore, CO2 emissions can be reduced more than 25% compared with the system that PV power is supplied via conventional power grid.
