Abstract
This paper describes the development of modeling method to consider manufacturing conditions (injection machine settings, output parameters in injection simulation and so on) for polymer parts with analysis method for predicting a crack. It is well known that the material properties of polymers are influenced by molding conditions. Relationships between material properties and manufacturing conditions were quantitatively determined by various investigations on the test plate. The method for applying the effects by manufacturing conditions to material models and crash simulation model was proposed.
