Abstract
In this study, computational simulations were performed for investigating suppression of buckling thin wall square tube with compressive and bending condition. In order to realize ideal deformation mode, a method for constraining buckling of each plane was developed. Results of constrained buckling plane combination showed that suppressing buckling of compressive plane is the most effective for retaining force and buckling of side wall is simultaneously constrained.
