Abstract
The need for ride comfort design that takes into account the coupling of suspension/tires and drive train is increasing due to changes in rotational inertia and stiffness of the drive train caused by the electrification of the vehicle. In this paper, it’s confirmed that the dynamic model of the suspension/tire and the drivetrain inertia / stiffness can reproduce the actual phenomenon. Also a ride comfort design method that combines the resonance and anti-resonance of the suspension/tire and the drivetrain is proposed.
