Abstract
It is essential to clarify the contribution of air conditioning to the CO₂ emissions of vehicles in terms of real-world fuel economy. SAE J2766 is used as a method for this purpose, but the heating conditions of BEVs have not yet been supported. Therefore, in this study, a new method was developed to quantify CO₂ emissions of all powertrains by heating tests using actual vehicles. In addition, CO₂ emissions from air conditioner use in 2035 were then estimated for each region and a proposal was compiled.
